Yidi Wang is a Chinese interdisciplinary new media artist, educator, and curator. She received her MFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, majoring in Emerging Technologies. She used to work a lot on using design to solve social problems through interactive installations. But during her MFA period, she intertwined her work using her skill sets and understanding of technology with performance to help push her focus with experimenting with body and language in space.

Her work had been exhibited at the School of Art Institute of Chicago, Midwest Fair of Mana Contemporary, No Nation - Art Gallery and Tangential Unspace Lab, Barbagelata Contemporary Art Foundation, Barcelona, and the EEA Gallery, New York. She was interviewed by the Artwork Gallery and AI-Tiba9 Magazine. Her work has also exhibited at the Caroline S. Mark Gallery, Wausau, Wisconsin.
